It had been 24 long years since I left N.A. for a vacation... from the moment my feet touched down in the land of ‘Pura Vida’ I knew I was in a place that was very special. The Costa Rican people are some of the nicest I have ever encountered. The food was simply superb, and the laid-back environment of each establishment was awesome to watch. Waking up each morning to the sound of nature was heavenly... The weather was stunning - every single day! I will be back, I want to explore more - super grateful for my Casa Trahan experience... The amenities were absolutely perfect!

February 2018 was my first venture to Costa Rica. On this journey, I landed in San Jose and took a sanza flight into Tambor and had an opportunity to tour with a friend who was familiar with the area and had my first introduction to Los Delfines. I was kid-free and fell in love with the food, terrain and wildlife. One year later, I couldn’t wait to share some of these experiences with my girls. At ages 10, 6, and 3, and never traveled away from home, to say I was nervous is an understatement. For this return trip, we flew into Liberia and took the road trip to Los Delfines so we could truly see the Countryside.

“Casa Trahan was ideal!!! Not only was the Villa very much like home for the week, but it offered everything needed for day to day function. The girls adored using the pool before even considering breakfast and were left utterly speechless watching the macaws fly overhead daily while listening to the howler monkeys; what a way to start every day. Having such a short distance to the ocean that, also has a rancho on the beach, made for some lovely dinners at sunset; the food is tasty and service is very friendly. We are very much looking forward to going back and taking friends & family.”

“I was looking for a safe, comfortable and conveniently located place to take my family for a quick vacation here in Costa Rica. La Casa Azul was just that place. Excellent villa with all the amenities that we could need. Actually having bikes was a hit for my kids. The beach is so beautiful and safe for kids. Wild life is very close for us to watch. My kids didn't even take the option to check out another beach, as they didn't want to waste time going somewhere else. We had such a wonderful time!. Kristy was great and always making sure we had all the right instructions and was always available. Excellent host, excellent villa!. We will definitely come back!”
